The North Carolina Minority Prostate Cancer Awareness Action Team (the Action Team) is a group of professional and community leaders with a deep commitment to service.  We provide targeted outreach to African-American men as they are at the greatest risk of developing prostate cancer. We work with churches, Greek-letter organizations, historically black colleges and universities, and others to disseminate information about prostate cancer.  This is done in an effort to increase the number of men empowered to participate in screenings and form connections to high quality personalized care.
